JOYCE THELMA MCCLEAN

McCLEAN – On March 14th 2018. JOYCE THELMA age 87, “Thelma McClean” of Valley View, St. George. Retired nurse of the Psychiatric Hospital. Daughter of the late Cecil and Adinah Sealy. Widow of Vincent McClean. Mother of Michael and Mona McClean. Grandmother of Shaniqua, Rodney, Ryan, Dwayne and Christopher. Great grandmother of eight. Sister of Hazel Small (USA), Annette Nicholls (UK), Aldin Sealy,  Jean Stevens (USA) and the late Pauline Maynard and Yvonne Fearon (USA). The funeral leaves BRYAN’S FUNERAL HOME Belmont Road, St. Michael on Thursday, 5th April, 2018 for St. Anne’s Church, St. Joseph where relatives and friends are asked to meet at 2.30p.m.  for a service of thanksgiving. The cortege will then proceed to the St. Joseph’s Church yard for the interment. Organist and members of the church choir are kindly asked to attend. Visitation of the late JOYCE THELMA MCCLEAN will take place in the Michael Bryan Memorial Chapel Bryan’s Funeral Home, Belmont Road, St. Michael on Wednesday, 4th April, 2018 from 4-6pm. Flowers may be sent to BRYAN’S FUNERAL HOME Belmont Road, St. Michael not later than 12pm on Thursday.

Father of Joyanne Kelly and James Miller. Brother of Shelly Morris and Andrew Miller. Father-in-law of Stephen Kelly. The funeral leaves BRYAN’S FUNERAL HOME Belmont Road, St. Michael on Wednesday, 28th March, 2018 for Coral Ridge Memorial Gardens, The Ridge, Christ Church where relatives and friends are asked to meet at 3.00p.m. for a service of thanksgiving and interment. Flowers may be sent to BRYAN’S FUNERAL HOME Belmont Road, St. Michael not later than 1.00p.m. on Wednesday.

 

MADELEINE SMITH nee Smith

  1. Madeleine Smith (nèe Mandeville) of Paynes Bay, St. James, passed away peacefully in her sleep on March 3rd 2018, at the age of 92 years, predeceased by her devoted husband Patrick in 1992. She will be greatly missed by many including her children: Geoffrey and Susan, Jennifer, Cheridah and Margaret and their respective children and grandchildren. The family would like to thank those who cared for her so lovingly in her later years with special thanks to Stephen, Colleen, Lami, Sonia, Petra and Vareene. A Service of Thanksgiving will be held at St. James Parish Church on Tuesday, March 20th, 2018 at 4:30pm. Following the service her Ashes will be immured in the Church Garden of Remembrance and so the family requests no flowers.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the St. James Parish Church flower fund

Mother-in-law of Indra, Sharda and Matthew. Sister of 8. The funeral leaves BRYAN’S FUNERAL HOME Belmont Road, St. Michael on Friday, 16th March, 2018 for Abundant Life Assembly Bank Hall, St. Michael where relatives and friends are asked to meet at 9.30a.m. for a service of thanksgiving. The cortege will then proceed to the Westbury Cemetery for the interment. Visitation of the late SEWRANIE “Lily’ BEST will take place in the Michael Bryan Memorial Chapel Bryan’s Funeral Home Belmont Road, St. Michael on Thursday,15th March, 2018 from 4-6pm. GRACE SIMPSON

It is with great sadness that the Dopwell, Simpson and Ince families announce the passing of Grace Simpson (nee Dopwell) on Sunday, 25 February, 2018.

Grace, aged 84, of Rendezvous Ridge, Christ Church and formerly of Stewart Hill, St John was the wife of the late Norman Simpson.  She will be greatly missed and lovingly remembered by her sisters, Daphne, Hazel and Pat; her brothers, David, Christopher and Matthew; her many nieces, nephews, god-children, close friends and extended family.  A service of thanksgiving celebrating her life will take place at St John Parish Church at 3pm on Friday, 9 March 2018.  In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Grace can be made to the Barbados Heart & Stroke Foundation.

WHITE – On 24th February 2018. GRETA DOREEN of Overdene Gardens, Dayrells Road, Christ Church. Wife of Charles (Canada). Sister of Marjorie, Frank, Michael, Norman and the late Richard. Friend of Gloria Mendes. A service of thanksgiving took place in the Michael Bryan Memorial Chapel, BRYAN’S FUNERAL HOME Belmont Road, St. Michael on Wednesday, 28th February, 2018 at 11.00a.m. The interment followed in the St. Stephen’s Church yard. In her memory, donations can be made to The Ark Animal Welfare Society.
