Edmond Bradshaw youth enrollement

BRADSHAW – EDMOND ERROL BSM.  The Barbados Service Award medal recipient and former Director General of the Barbados Red Cross Society passed away unexpectedly on December 17, 2017 while on a Red Cross Conference in Trinidad.  Edmond was born in Barbados on October 14th 1954 to the late Fred and Edwena Bradshaw and was the brother of Mrs. Pamela Beaumont of Ontario Canada.  Friend to many.
Edmond was a true humanitarian and cherished friend to many.  He was a proud former student of Boys Foundation School, dedicated Sergeant of Arms and Past President of Rotary Club of Barbados South, faithful honorary secretary of the Barbados Boys Scouts Association, provocative Auctioneer, and respected steward in the Barbados Turf Club.  The funeral of the late Edmond Errol Bradshaw leaves Bryans’ Funeral Home, Belmont Road, St Michael on Saturday, January 20, 2018 at 7.30a.m. for the Abundant Life Assembly, Bank Hall, St. Michael where relatives and friends are asked to meet for 9.00 am for reflections and the service of thanksgiving.  The cortege will then proceed to the Westbury Cemetery for the Interment.  In lieu of flowers, a special contribution will be taken for the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Barbados.

  1. A personable soft spoken methodical auctioneer Edmund Bradshaw approached and delivered his service with exceptional precision and efficiency. During two auctions he conducted for my late husband and for me I was impressed by his high standards.
Barbados has lost a son who could have taught “customer care 101”. Edmund Bradshaw will be missed.

  2. Edmond was a great humanitarian. The impact he had on the lives of many folk will live on. Well done, good and faithful servant ! Rest in peace !

    Geoffrey Fitzpatrick, Ontario, Canada.

  3. Dear Edmund,
A life well lived. I’m proud to call you cousin. May you rest in peace.
    Pat Fitzpatrick Hardt – Montreal

  4. Edmonds passing has left a great void…in Red Cross in Scouts, in Rotary and in the humanitarian world. He will long be remembered for his tremendous sense of humour , for his wisdom and guidance, for his patriotism and for his keen sense of doing what is right. On behalf of the Guyana Red Cross and my own behalf I wish him a peaceful rest. I will miss him greatly. Rest in Peace my friend.

  5. I know for certain that we never lose the people we love, even to death. Mr. Bradshaw continues to participate in every act, thought and decision we make. His love leaves an indelible imprint in our memories. We find comfort in knowing that his life has been enriched by having shared his love. He is a great loss to all the people who know him, with a heavy heart, I pray for the eternal repose of one who was a man of distinguished humanity. May his soul rest in peace.

    De Vaughn Lewis
