SMITH – A loving, caring and friendly mother has quietly and suddenly slipped away from us leaving a void that no one but God can fill. On 23rd March 2015 – OTTELENE IANTHE SMITH nèe BLACKMAN of Mellowes Hill, St. Joseph. Devoted member of St. Joseph’s Parish Church. Wife of Timothy “Cherry” Smith. Mother of Shirley Forde, Richard and Grantley Blackman, Deborah Howell-Cadogan, Emmily and Victorine Smith. Grandmother of Tricia Lowe, Tamisha Forde, Delvin Howell, Richelle Smith-Ishmael, Andre and Akiel Smith, Rohan and Deandra Blackman and Lois Cox. Sister of Verna Nurse and three others. Aunt of Allison, Dwayne and Rohan Nurse, Elvis Coward, Parkinson Alleyne, Carolyn and Rudolph Blackman and many others. Mother-in-law of Stephen Forde and Manton Cadogan. Sister-in-law of Edwin Nurse. Relative of the Marshall family and friend of many. The funeral leaves BRYAN’S FUNERAL HOME Belmont Road, St. Michael on Wednesday 1st April 2015 for St. Aidan’s Church Bathsheba, St. Joseph where relatives and friends are asked to meet at 3.30p.m for a service of thanksgiving. The cortege will then proceed to the St. Joseph Cemetery for the interment. The organist, members of the church choir, the Mothers Union and Church Army are kindly asked to attend. Flowers may be sent to BRYAN’S FUNERAL HOME Belmont Road, St. Michael not later than 1.30p.m. on Wednesday.
