  1. I telephoned Dr. Weel’s office only yesterday (May 10, 2018) to make an appointment with him and was shocked when I was told he died. Dr. Weel was a very knowledgeable and caring dentist. His personality was quite unique. Well, I did make an appointment with the dentist who is handling Dr. Weels former patients but it will be very sad when I go there and not see Dr. Weel. It certainly wont be the same. Its eight months or so since his death but I express my sincere condolences to his family. Maybe one day I will meet his family.

  2. I went to dentist weel after I had two bad experiences with other dentists and he was so nice and although professional; said some funny stuff that made me laugh. I have been going to him for many years after that good experience, I had to get an extraction at the time and I did not even know when the tooth was removed by Mr. Weel’s gentle hands.
I am sure he will be missed by many, may he rest in peace.

  3. It is with much sadness that I recently learned of Fred’s passing. Even though it has been over 30 years since I worked with him in Stonewall, Manitoba, Canada, I still remember his enthusiasm, generosity and excellence in dentistry. He would sometime quip, “ I can get that out with a knife and fork!” My heartfelt wishes go out to Howaida and family. May all the great memories console and support you.

  4. I was saddened upon learning of the passing of Fred.He hired me as a dental assistant in 1970 at his dental office in Stonewall,Manitoba,Canada.Fred was always full of energy and would come into the office and holler out “Yavolle” .He went on to fulfill his passion of dental surgery and will surely be missed. My condolences to his family.

  5. My condolences to the family. Dr. Weel was instrumental in starting my dental recovery, when others gave me little hope he helped. Will be missed.

  6. Death always comes to soon. Take comfort in the fact that Oystein will always be remembered by his peers as an influential professional and teacher in his chosen field. Howaida and Family may the God of your Hearts keep you and comfort you, and may the fond memories that have been created through his journey of life with you always remain at the fore.

  7. Gone too soon – but remembered fondly. May The God of all Comfort be with you, Howaida, Alex, Sam, Samia and all the family.

  8. I will always remember Fred Weel for his boundless energy and enthusiasm for his profession.
He was always ready to give advise, and has been influential in my professional development, and, I am sure, that of countless of my peers.
On behalf of myself and the team at Always Dental Care Services, I wish to take this opportunity to extend heart felt condolences to his family, and loved ones.
    May he Rest In Peace.

  9. Fred Weel has been a source of inspiration in my professional career. He has been extremely generous in sharing from his expertise with me. I joined Dr. Weel at Renfroe Professional Centre, 30 yrs ago when I first returned to Barbados after obtaining my Dental degree. Shortly after, we became partners. Our Partnership flourished and I am eternally grateful for his invaluable contribution in my professional and personal life. I will miss him dearly. On the behalf of the team at Aesthetic Dental, we express our condolences to Howaida and his family. May he Rest In Peace.
