PETER REGINALD FARMER

FARMERPETER REGINALD, passed away peacefully on Thursday, 9th January 2025, at his residence, Homestead, Marine Gardens, Christ Church. Peter was born on July 14, 1935. He was the widower of the late Leila Farmer. Father of Donna Davis (Charles), Paul (Mary) and Neil (Sonia). Grandfather of six and great-grandfather of ten. A memorial service will take place on Wednesday, 22nd January, 2025 at St. Lawrence Church, St. Lawrence Gap, Christ Church where relatives and friends are asked to meet at 2:00 p.m. Parking in the Church yard will be for family only. Additional parking will be available by the old Ship’s Inn. There will be a private interment at Westbury Cemetery for the family. In lieu of flowers, a donation will be collected for the Church Building Fund. Mourning colors are optional. TROY ANTONIO GIBSON

GIBSON – Entered into rest peacefully on 28th December 2024. TROY ANTONIO, better known as FLY, aged 43, of Edey’s Village, Christ Church. Son of Shirley Gibson and the late Raymond Hazelwood. Father of Amariah Elcock. Brother of Sophia Weekes (PricewaterhouseCoopers SRL), Nicole Gibson (CIBC Caribbean), Kimeta Gibson (Asphalt Processors Inc.), Ryan, Jamar and Kevin Gibson, Andrew McGeary (QEH) and Chriscia Hazelwood, Nephew of Reynold, Courtney, Michael, Maria and Mark Taylor. Relative of the Gibson, Taylor, Best, Niles and Hazelwood families and uncle, cousin and friend of many. The funeral leaves Bryan’s Funeral Home, Belmont Road, St. Michael, on Thursday, 23rd January 2025 for Salter’s Church of God, Salters, St. George where relatives and friends are asked to meet at 1:00 pm for service of thanksgiving. The cortege will then proceed to the Christ Church Cemetery for the interment. Flowers may be sent to Bryan’s Funeral Home, not later than 11.00am on Thursday. Viewing of the late Troy Antonio Gibson takes place in the Michael Bryan Memorial Chapel, Bryan’s Funeral Home, Belmont Road, St. Michael on Wednesday, 22nd January 2025 from 4-6pm.

Miller – Lena  Ordeen, aged 71 of Watt’s Village, St, George former server of Vauxhall Primary School, entered into rest on December 24th 2024. Daughter of the late Millicent and Robert Miller. Mother of Janelle Miller-Harris Paints. Sister of Elaine Carter, Clarissa Nightingale (both of the U.K). Gwendolyn Bryan, Pearl Brewster and Stephen Miller. Niece of Don and Mathew Smith (both of the U.K). Aunt of Jerry, Peter and Junior Nightingale, Sandra Mowatt, Roger Carrington  and Barbara Boswood (all of U.K) Sherryann Daniel (Canada) Elvis Bryan (Germany) Fadine Linton, Wayne Bryan, Sharon Yearwood, Andrew Goodman, Ian Brewster, Dawn Best-Waithe ,Dwayne Best, Shanique Wall and Kayla Alleyne. Great aunt of Rochelle Gonzalves (U.S.A) and 21 others. Cousin of Samuel Miller, Marva Best and Andrea Lorde Smith. Sister-in-law of Sefton Brewster. Friend of Whitfield Brown, (UK) John Daniel, Shawn Stewart, Erleta Trotman, Glenda Chase, Yvette Peters, Shirley Rudder-Thorpe Goulbourne Niles, Orville Trotman, former staff of the Vauxhall  Primary School, Watt’s Village Community and many others. Relative of the Butcher, Smith, Belle, Forde, Watson and Miller Families.  The funeral of the late LENA ORDEEN MILLER leaves Bryan’s Funeral Home, Belmont Road, St. Michael, on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 for St. David’s Anglican Church where relatives and friends are asked to meet at 2:00 pm for a service of thanksgiving and interment. The organist and members of the choir are kindly asked to attend. HUTSON LEROY CLARKE

CLARKE, Hutson LeRoy, passed away peacefully on Friday, 3rd January 2025, in Auckland, NZ. Hutson was born in Barbados on 29/9/1942. He was one of 12 children born to Clement & Mildred Clarke. Brother of surviving siblings David, Marie & Margaret. Husband of 1st wife Betty (Murphy). Father of adopted son Michael Edwards. Father of Mark Robinson, Jackie Clarke (& Dean), Carolyn Costello (& Stephen). Grandad of Paige, Brooke & Nina. Husband of 2nd wife Colleen (Payne). Dementia is a horrible disease, & special thanks go to the staff at CHT Hayman Care Home for their excellent care of & compassion towards Hutson. You made a great difference to his last 5 months with us. A private cremation was held on Monday, 6th January 2025.

Beloved mother of Ricardo, Curtis and Ryan Craigg. Cherished grandmother of Aurora. Sister of Carmen Shorey, Merle Harewood, Dorothy Small, Clyde, Veldeen and Euston Craigg. Sister to the late Chesterfield and Ormond Craigg. Beloved companion of Winfield Foster. Aunt of many. Cousin of many. Relative of the Bennett, Howell and Mascoll families.
