ROSS – On September 23rd 2024. PETER MARK of Homestead Senior Citizens’ Residence, Marine Gardens, Christ Church. Formerly of Elizabeth Park, Christ Church. Husband of Maureen Ross. Father of Carol (Glenn) O’Dowd, Alison (Matthew) Ross (USA). Grandfather of Jeremy and Jonathan O’Dowd. Brother of Dorothy Edwards (Canada) and David Ross (USA). Brother-in-law of Angela Payne and the late David and Michael Bryan. A service of thanksgiving for the life of Peter Ross takes place on Wednesday, 2nd October 2024 at St. Cyprian’s Church, George Street, St. Michael, where relatives and friends are asked to meet at 10:30 am. The cortege will then proceed to the Westbury Cemetery for the interment.  The organist and members of the church choir are kindly asked to attend. In lieu of flowers, donations to Ocean Acres Animal Sanctuary will be greatly appreciated. Jackets optional. A Service of Thanksgiving to celebrate the life of Joyce Enita Smith leaves Bryan’s Funeral Home, Belmont Road, St, Michael on Friday October 4th, 2024 for the St. Ambrose Anglican Church, Cypress Street, Bridgetown, where relatives and friends are asked to meet at 1:00 pm. The cortege will then proceed to the Westbury Cemetery for the interment. The Organist and members of the choir and the Mothers’ Union are also asked to attend. Floral tributes may be delivered to Bryan’s Funeral Home by 11am on October 4th 2024. Viewing of the late Joyce Smith takes place in the Michael Bryan Memorial Chapel, Bryan’s Funeral Home, on Thursday 3rd October, 2024 from 4-6pm. Father of Roger and Roland (Kerry Ann). Grandfather of Aria. Brother of Cecile Grant and the late Orville and Balfour Grant and June Whitehall. The funeral leaves Bryan’s Funeral Home Belmont Road, St. Michael on Wednesday, 25th September, 2024 for St. David’s Anglican Church where relatives and friends are asked to meet at 10:00a.m. for a service of thanksgiving and interment. Donations to the Barbados Association of Palliative Care will be greatly appreciated. Flowers may be sent to Bryan’s Funeral Home, Belmont Road, St. Michael not later than 8:00am. on Wednesday.

McCONNEY – On 16th September 2024. HAZEL of #4 Rowans, St. George. Wife of the late Frank McConney. Mother of Eric (Wendy) McConney (USA), Suzanne (Bob) Stiller (USA), AnneMarie (John) McConney and Andy (Nicki) McConney. Grandmother of Krista, Kevin, Nicholas, Sydney, Christopher, Samantha, Siena, Dylan and Joshua. Great grandmother of Finn and Lincoln. Sister of Patrick Bethell and the late Michael Bethell. A memorial service for the life of Hazel McConney takes place on Friday, 27th September 2024 at St. George Parish Church where relatives and friends are asked to meet at 3:30 p.m. The organist and members of the church choir are kindly asked to attend. In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Winifred’s School in aid of the Legacy Project will be greatly appreciated. No mourning colours by special request.
