WEEL – On September 22nd 2017, OYSTEIN FREDDY BDS FDS RCPS (Glasglow) of #13 Rowans, St. George. Husband of Howaida Weel. Father of Alexander (Canada), Ingrid (UK) and Christine (Canada). Son-in-law of Dr. Samir and Samia Moussa. Brother of Jan Weel and family (Norway). A service of thanksgiving for the life of OYSTEIN FREDDY WEEL takes place on Thursday, 5th October, 2017 at Coral Ridge Memorial Gardens, The Ridge, Christ Church where relatives and friends are asked to meet 10.00a.m. No mourning colours by special request. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Barbados Cancer Society will be greatly appreciated.

 

SHEILA WENDY FARMER

FARMER – On 23rd September 2017, SHEILA WENDY of “Kinstead” Barclays Terrace, Wildey, St. Michael. Daughter of the late Glenville and Dorothy Farmer. Sister of Harry, John and Robert Farmer, Joanie Skeete, Anne Lady Seale and the late Nell Farmer, Barbara Bourne and Betty Thompson. Aunt to eighteen nieces and nephews across Barbados, Canada, New Zealand and the US. The funeral leaves BRYAN’S FUNERAL HOME, Belmont Road, St. Michael on Monday, 2nd October, 2017 for St. Philip’s Parish Church, where relatives and friends are asked to meet at 4.00p.m. for a service of thanksgiving and interment. Organist and members of the church choir are kindly asked to attend. No flowers by special request, donations will be accepted in Wendy’s memory for The St. Philip’s Church Building Fund.

SARGEANT – On 16th September 2017. HOPHNI of Chapel Land, St. Philip. Worker of the Fisheries Division and a well known cricketer. Son of the late Leon and Ianthe Sargeant. Brother of Maida Clarke, Marcia Holder, Melanese Sargeant-Harewood, Oswald and Ovid Sargeant. Uncle of Hayden, Haldene and Sherry–Ann Holder, Renaldo and Ramon Sargeant, Petra Mondesir, Francia, Nicole and Sheena Headley, Orlando Branch and OJ Sargeant and many more. Friend of Greg Franklin, the Mottley family of Chapel Street, St. Philip, staff of the fisheries division and many others. The funeral leaves BRYAN’S FUNERAL HOME Belmont Road, St. Michael on Wednesday 27th September 2017 for St. Philip’s Parish Church where relatives and friends are asked to meet at 4pm for a service of thanksgiving and interment. Organist and members of the church choir are kindly asked to attend. Visitation of the late HOPHNI SARGEANT will take place in the MICHAEL BRYAN Memorial chapel Bryan’s Funeral Home Belmont Road, St. Michael on Tuesday, 26th September, 2017 from 4-6pm. MAYERS – On 29th October 2016. JOAN neé WEATHERHEAD of Alberta, Canada. Widow of Frank. Mother of Richard (Heather), Helen (Glen Petrie), Andrew (Rosemary), Ann and Wendy. Grandmother of nine. Great grandmother of five. The interment of Joan’s cremated remains will take place tomorrow Thursday, 21st September 2017, at 3.00p.m. at the Westbury Cemetery.

Grandfather of Sienna, Austin, Tyler and Jacob. Brother of Stephen and the late Patrick Lewis. Father-in-law of Warren Gollop and Brett Barber. The funeral leaves BRYAN’S FUNERAL HOME Belmont Road, St. Michael on Saturday, 23rd September, 2017 for Coral Ridge Memorial Gardens, The Ridge, Christ Church where relatives and friends are asked to meet at 3.00p.m for a service of thanksgiving and interment. In lieu of flowers, donations to local animal rescue programmes will be greatly appreciated and collected at the service. Mourning colours are optional. Jacket and tie are not required.

The funeral leaves BRYAN’S FUNERAL HOME Belmont Road, St. Michael on Friday, 15th September, 2017 for Coral Ridge Memorial Gardens, The Ridge, Christ Church where relatives and friends are asked to meet at 11.00am for a service of thanksgiving. A private cremation will follow. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart Foundation of Barbados Inc. will be greatly appreciated.
