Sincerest condolences to the family and friends of Dr Watson, GCM. As a former heritage student, you ensured that your students attained success and this certainly inspired me. You were a lecturer that cared and gave great guidance even when called upon after leaving UWI. This was certainly invaluable to me. Thank you Dr Watson. May you RIP.
Today we celebrate your life, a life well lived and one that touched so many lives. Thank you uncle Karl for your love and support. May you rest in eternal peace.
I expressed my profound sympathy to the family of Dr.Karl Watson. I was a history student of Dr.Watson in 1990s and he later provided guidance to me when i doing my masters at the U.W.I. Dr.Watson always help his students and even after he retired from the University he wanted to know how you were progressing in life generally.
Rest in peace Karl. You were a good friend, teacher and mentor.
Karl, you were an exceptionally friendly, approachable and learned person who shared his love of history and nature, especially birds. A person of action, not just words. Your contribution to Society has been great. May you Rest in Peace.
