HOAD – On 23rd July, 2023. CHARLES WILLIAM GORDON “BILL” of #35 Polo Estate, Apes Hill, St. James. Husband of Alison. Father of Sophie-Ann and Christopher. Stepfather of Kelly, Kim, Lori, Stephen, Freddie, Donald, Allan, William and Caroline. Grandfather of Ashley, Daniel, Andrew, Ivy, Sam, Sienna, Haylei and Kai. Brother of Anne Grant, Richard and Margaret Hoad and the late Edward, John, George, Tony and Joe Hoad. The funeral leaves BRYAN’S FUNERAL HOME, Belmont Road, St. Michael, on Wednesday, 2nd August, 2023 for The Mount Pleasant Gardens, Pleasant Hall, St. Peter where relatives and friends are asked to meet at 3pm for a service of thanksgiving. A private cremation will take place later. Dearest Bill – forever in our hearts.
Bill, the man that sold us our house in Barbados back in 2002, whom became a very dear and loving friend.
Always willing to help and support, generous to a fault, funny and quick witted, we loved a rum or two with him, listening to his stories, with and him playing the organ, or sailing on Spanish Eyes.
We will miss him dearly, his laugh, his whistle, the twinkly in his eye when talking to the ladies, and always saying ‘oh shite man’.
He was a diamond that shone so brightly in so many peoples lives, especially ours.
Our love and thoughts go out to Alison and all the family, who have lost the most wonderful gentleman.
Rest in Peace Bill, you have earned it. XX Until we meet again XX
So very sad to lose Bill Hoad. Such a wonderful man, kind, generous, with a great sense of humour.
