YOUNG – On 16th February, 2019. CUTHBERT VICTOR age 69, of Lot 13 Edgecliff Gardens, St. John. Son of the late Evans and Estelle Young. Father of Adrian Watkins, Shonelly Green. Brother of Peter and Clairmonte Young and of late Eustace better known as “coke”, Violet Kellman, Grant and Elroy Young and others. Uncle of Rev. Ronnie Quimby, Antonio Brathwaite and others. Friend of many. The funeral leaves BRYAN’S FUNERAL HOME, Belmont Road, St. Michael, on Monday, 25th February, 2019 for St. John’s Parish Church where relatives and friends are asked to meet at 3.30p.m for a service of thanksgiving and interment. Organist and members of the church choir are kindly asked to attend. Flowers may be sent to BRYAN’S FUNERAL HOME, Belmont Road, St. Michael, not later than 1.30p.m. on Monday. Visitation of the late Cuthbert Young takes place in the Michael Bryan Memorial Chapel, Bryan’s Funeral Home, Belmont Road, St. Michael on Sunday, 24th February, 2019 from 4-6pm.

GRECIA – On 13th February, 2019. DOROTHY neè Corbin, of #132 Ocean City, St. Philip.  Loving wife of Michael Grecia. Loving mother of Mark (Australia), Winston and the late David. Grandmother of Sean, Kerri, Brett, Scott and Emily. Great grandmother of 10. The funeral leaves BRYAN’S FUNERAL HOME, Belmont Road, St. Michael on Tuesday, 19th February, 2019 for St. Philip’s Parish Church, St. Philip where relatives and friends are asked to meet at  10.00a.m. for a service of thanksgiving. The cortege will then proceed to the Westbury Cemetery for the interment. Organist and members of the church choir are kindly asked to attend. In lieu of flowers, donations to the R.S.P.C.A will be greatly appreciated.

 

PAULINE MARJORIE GOODRIDGE

GOODRIDGE – PAULINE MARJORIE of #1 Highgate Park, St. Michael, slipped away peacefully on February 7th, 2019 at her residence. Widow of Clyde Winston Goodridge whom she loved dearly. Pauline was the dedicated and loving matriarch of her family; mother of Mark W. Goodridge Q.C., (Carol) and Anna-Maria Emtage (Andrew), mother to Stephen Goodman (Joanne), beloved sister of Daphne Dickenson, and special aunt of Janice McKay (Johnny). Grandmother of Sarah Goodridge Byndloss (Kevin), Simon Goodridge (Saskia), Kerri Barrow (Jason), William & Dani Emtage, Great-grandmother of Yishai, Selah and Shiloh Byndloss, Axel and Xain Goodridge, Cataleya and Malachi Barrow, all of whom were blessed to have been cared for tenderly by her. The funeral leaves BRYAN’S FUNERAL HOME, Belmont Road, St. Michael on Monday, 11th February, 2019 for the chapel of the Westbury Cemetery Westbury Road, St. Michael, where relatives and friends are asked to meet at 10.00a.m for a service of thanksgiving and interment. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Barbados Cancer Society will be greatly appreciated and collected at the chapel.

The funerals leave BRYAN’S FUNERAL HOME Belmont Road, St. Michael, on Monday, 11th February, 2019 for St. Leonard’s Church Westbury Road, St. Michael, where relatives and friends are asked to meet at 2.30p.m. for a service of thanksgiving and interment. Organist and members of the church choir are kindly asked to attend. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Barbados will be greatly appreciated.

CLARKE-EDWARDS – On 29th January, 2019. BERYL of Golf View Terrace, Christ Church and formerly of Cave Hill, St. Michael. Widow of Peach Edwards. Mother of Michael (Angela), Beverley (Richard deceased), Esther (John) and Monica (Sean). Grandmother of nine. Great grandmother of 15. Sister of many. A service of thanksgiving for the life of Beryl Clarke-Edwards takes place on Tuesday, 12th February, 2019 at St. Matthias Church Hastings, Christ Church, where relatives and friends are asked to meet at 2.00p.m. A private interment of her ashes will follow. Organist and members of the church choir are kindly asked. In lieu of flowers, donations to the St. Matthias Church Building Fund will be greatly appreciated. Jackets are optional.
