INNISS – On 29th December, 2019. JUNE M. neè KNIGHT formerly of “Mervue Cottage” Balmoral Gap, Hastings, Christ Church. Widow of Peter Inniss. Mother of Karl Berkebile (USA), Karen Mandeville, Matthew Inniss (Canada). Step-mother of Stephen Inniss (Canada) and the late Chris Inniss (USA). Grandmother of Neysa, Brian, Chris, Lenore, John, Keira and Molly. Sister of Consuelo Rhode (Germany) and the late Rosalie Kelshall (Trinidad). The funeral leaves BRYAN’S FUNERAL HOME Belmont Road, St. Michael, on Saturday, 4th January 2020 for St. Patrick’s Roman Catholic Church, Jemmotts Lane, St. Michael where relatives and friends are asked to meet 10:30a.m for service of thanksgiving. The cortege will then proceed to the Westbury Cemetery for the interment. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Living Water Community will be greatly appreciated

HUNTE, GLORIA ANITA

April 12, 1924 – December 20, 2019.

 It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Gloria peacefully at Bromswood Retirement Home, 2 Mile Hill, St Michael, on December 20th 2019. Formerly of #21 Angelica Row, Sunset Crest, St. James.  Sister of Dorrien Richards (Trinidad) and the late Winston, Tudy and Neville Warren and Hazel de Verteville. She was the loving and supportive Aunty Lolo to 12, Great-Aunt of 14 and Great-Great-Aunt of 12. The family wishes to thank Mrs. Sobers and staff for the wonderful care provided these past 5 years.

The funeral leaves Bryan’s Funeral Home, Belmont Road, St. Michael on Friday, January 3rd, 2020 for the James Street Methodist Church, Bridgetown where relatives and friends are asked to meet at 10:00 a.m. for a service of thanksgiving. A private cremation and internment will take place at a later date. The organist and members of the church choir are kindly asked to attend. In lieu of flowers, donations to The James Street Methodist Church Building Fund will be gratefully accepted.

 BASCOMBE SHIMAR STEVENSON ROJOE better known as “Brookes” of Hannays Valley, Windsor, Christ Church. Former employee of The Barbados Water Authority. Son of Roland and Gail Bascombe. Brother of Shane and Sheridan Rawlins and Shad Rawlins (LIAT). Grandson of Clyde Walcott and Carmen Davis. Uncle of Aria and Liam Rawlins. Brother-in-law of Carolene Rawlins. Nephew of Bishop Algernon Rawlins, Rudy Harris (RBPF), Delvin Harris, David Davis, Dawn Kinch (Canada), Sharon Rawlins (CDI), and many more. Godson of Romona Clark (CIBC). Relative of the Rawlins, Bascombe, Harris, Davis and Skeete families. The funeral leaves BRYAN’S FUNERAL HOME Belmont Road, St. Michael on Monday, 23rd December, 2019 for Calvary Outreach Community Church, Windsor Road, Christ Church where relatives and friends are asked to meet at 2:00p.m. for a service of thanksgiving. The cortege will then proceed to the Coral Ridge Memorial Gardens, The Ridge, Christ Church for the interment. Flowers may be sent to BRYAN’S FUNERAL HOME, Belmont Road, St. Michael not later than 12:00pm on Monday.

RALPHE CLARKE “RAFE”

CLARKERALPHE “Rafe” died peacefully on December, 1st 2019, at home with his wife and two loving dogs, Bodie and Digby. Husband of Pippa. Brother of David, Carolyn, Lindy, Debra. Uncle of David. Great Uncle of Millie. The funeral leaves Bryan’s Funeral Home, Belmont Road, St. Michael on Tuesday, 17th December, 2019 for St. Matthias Church Hastings, Christ Church, where relatives and friends are asked to meet at 3:00p.m for a service of thanksgiving. A private cremation will follow at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Barbados Association of Palliative Care will be greatly appreciated. No mourning colours by special request.

DOWDING – On 4th December, 2019. ANDREW AUBREY of Sunset Crest, St. James. Father of Sean Dowding and Sarah (Bruce) Greenidge. Grandfather of Brandon and Montana Dowding, Liam and Leanna Greenidge. Brother of Margo Atkinson, Dorothy Maingot (Scotland), Barbara Dale (England), and the late Janet Dowding. The funeral leaves BRYAN’S FUNERAL HOME, Belmont Road, St. Michael, on Thursday, 19th December, 2019 for St. George Parish Church where relatives and friends are asked to meet at 10:00am for a service of thanksgiving. A private interment will follow in the church yard. Organist and members of the church choir are kindly asked to attend. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Humane Organisation for the Relief of Suffering Equines will be greatly appreciated and collected at the church. No mourning colours by special request.

DOWDING – On 29th November, 2019. MARGARET HAZEL of Nutmeg Row, Sunset Crest, St. James. Advertising Manager & Feature Writer for Carib Publicity, Managing Director of Dotto Boutique at Sandy Lane,  Executive Director of The Barbados National Trust, Financial Controller for Women in Development, Official Fund Raiser for Tyrol Cot Appeal Fund & Project Manager of Tyrol Cot Heritage Village. Margaret created and directed numerous fund raisers, charity events, musical & modeling shows, was the window dresser to top boutiques and flower arranger extraordinaire. A woman of boundless energy with an eye for beauty and artistry in all forms, an animal lover, and a dancer and performer. Her soul will live on in all that she has created and those touched by her creations and performances. Dance on beautiful angel; dance, dance wherever you may be.

Daughter of Arthur and Sylvia Hutchinson. Mother of Sean Dowding and Sarah (Bruce) Greenidge. Grandmother of Brandon and Montana Dowding, Liam and Leanna Greenidge. Aunt of Claire Worme, Dawn Steele (Canada), Vikki King (Canada) and Susan Anderson (Canada).
