Ralph gave many years of outstanding service in various sporting endeavors including squash, rally driving, golf, boxing, yachting, sailing and had a special love for aquatic sports. Due to the restrictions of Covid-19 a private celebration of life for Ralph “Bruggadung” Johnson takes place on Friday, 5^th June, 2020 at 10:00am at Coral Ridge Memorial Gardens, The Ridge, Christ Church. Brother of Austin Atwell, Sally Burke, Sue Atwell (Canada) and the late John Atwell (UK). A private celebration of life for Aubrey Peter Atwell takes place on Monday, 1^st June, 2020 at 10:00a.m at St. Dominic’s Roman Catholic Church, Maxwell Main Road, Christ Church. TOWNER, Christopher John Nicholas of #120 Port St. Charles, St. Peter, died unexpectedly at his home in Guernsey, Channel Islands, on 4th May, 2020, aged 70. Adored and much loved partner of Justyna Serwach, whom he gave the happiest eight years of her life. Rest in peace, you will be missed forever. Adored son of the late Dorothy and Eric Towner.  Much loved cousin of Sir Tim Jenner, Kathleen Kimura MBE, Graham Burgess, John Burgess and Malcolm Burgess. Supportive Godfather of Guy Watts.  Very special and dear friend of many around the world. Entrepreneur, businessman, charitable, generous, gentle and kind man who will always be remembered for his wittiness and kindness.

Due to current restrictions, a private service and cremation took place in Guernsey, Channel Islands on 14th May, 2020.  A memorial service to celebrate his life will be held in Barbados at a later date.  In the meantime, any kind donations you may wish to make to honour Christopher’s memory may be sent to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Barbados (www.hsfbarbados.org).

GUILFOYLE, CYNTHIA PATRICIA of Quebec, Canada entered peacefully into rest on Saturday, 9^th May, 2020 in Barbados.  Daughter of the late Cynthia and Roy Croney. Widow of Herbert Guilfoyle. Mother of Mark (Sue) and Glenn Guilfoyle. Grandmother of Sydney, Grey, Kieran and Casey Guilfoyle. Sister of the late Gloria Sebright and the late Richard Croney. Aunt of Cheryl (Robert) King, Frances D’Aguiar, Gary (Betty) and John (Anna Marie) Croney and Debbie (Ed) Johnston. Great Aunt of Tara and Cher King; Matthew (Alicia) and Carl D’Aguiar and Croney and Johnston families in Canada.

A private cremation will take place and a Memorial Service of Thanksgiving for the Life of Cynthia Patricia Guilfoyle will be held at a later date.
