We met Phillip through our good friend Margaret. He was a lovely, kind fellow, very interesting to speak with and we enjoyed visiting every time we were In Barbados . He was also such a dear friend to Margaret and the two of them went through many good times and challenges together. We thank you Phillip for your friendship to Margaret, our daughter Dee and us as well as the many other lives you touched along the way.
May God be with you and your family.
I had the privilege of getting to know Philip when I was visiting Margaret. He would take us on adventures around the island . Phil treated me like family from the very moment I met him, and I will always have fond memories of this time. Rest easy friend . Until we meet again.
I loved you because you you were You. My friend. Simple as that.
A gentle man with a big heart that thought me so much and allowed me in to his word.
His trust in me made me who I am today. A woman that overcame fears, depression and self doubt. I ventured out on travels I would never take. The Canadian Rockies in a 4 × 4 scared me to death. My co pilot, Philip , was my rock. Hard of hearing and eyesight a bit dimmed, he trusted me to hit the road. And together we had a journey of a lifetime.
Philip Blades, you touched my soul for sure.
Without you, my life will never be the same, but so much richer for having had you watching over me.
Deepest condolences to you Charlie and your family. Philip will always be remembered fondly by our entire family, for his kindness and friendship shared with our parents Joan & Cecil Fitt. A wonderful man, with always a smile on his face, that I was lucky to share some great card games with over the years. I cannot forget having a drink or two, at the Crane, BYC, or Southern Palms on my last few trips to beautiful Barbados. May he RIP. God Bless you and your family and keeping you in mind Philip Blades❤️🙏
