GOODING – On 8th January 2016. COLIN ERNEST of #15 Banyan Court, Chelsea Road, St. Michael. A service of thanksgiving and interment will take place on Thursday 14th January 2016 at 3.30p.m at Holy Trinity Church, St Philip.
Bryan's Funeral
Very sad news. For those who don’t know me I am one of Colin’s nephews. His brothers middle son, living in Nova Scotia, Canada. Colin most recently visited our family in the summer of 2014 staying for almost 2 weeks. I must say we had a very nice visit. He was a good uncle to me, so much so, even allowing me to drive him crazy while I was a high school student in the mid seventies, living on the farm with him, Jean and Grannie (Mary). From both my father and Colin’s love of aviation and the numerous flights we did from the farm, fast forward to the present, I have worked at an International airport for the last twenty years, loving the world of aviation as they did. My wife Sharon got to know Colin quite well over the years, as he would call to talk to “me” and spend long periods of time chatting with her. Quite a character, he definitely had an impact on my life, as all who knew him would concur he was a very interesting man. He will be deeply missed.
