PROVERBS – On 11th November, 2019. RICHARD ALLAN “Dick” of Rendezvous Retreat, Rendezous, Christ Church and formerly of Philip Drive, Pine Hill, St. Michael, died peacefully at the age of 75. Son of the late Frank and Gwen Proverbs. Brother of Ann Mayers. Brother-in-law of Patrick Mayers. Uncle of Lynne (Hans) (USA), Philip (Natalie), and Ian (Julianne). Great Uncle of Joshua, Noah, Jordan and Kirra. The funeral leaves Bryan’s Funeral Home Belmont Road, St. Michael, on Friday, 15th November, 2019 for St. St. George Parish Church, St. George, where relatives and friends are asked to meet at 10:00a.m for as service of thanksgiving and interment. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Sail for Sight charity will be greatly appreciated. No mourning colours by special request.
Dear Ann, Patrick, Lynne, Phillip, Ian and Family;
I fondly remember my vacations with the Hutchins on Phillip Drive, in the ’50s; and spending those most happy of days with the Proverbs, Weatherheads and other kids “down the Drive”; hanging out at your houses and above all; roaming with my two mates, Dick Proverbs and Geoffrey Weatherhead all over the “Dunks Tree bush country” that was so much of Pine Hill then!
Take comfort, and find peace; in the knowledge that Richard is now, finally, at rest.
